Kew Palace

I+

Located in the heart of Kew Gardens, this little palace is the oldest surviving building in the Gardens.

More like a home than a palace, the privacy and intimacy of this smallest of English royal palaces made it the favourite country retreat for King George III, Queen Charlotte and their 15 children in the late 18th Century. Don’t miss the Royal Kitchens; the most perfectly preserved Georgian royal kitchens in existence.

After visiting this delightful palace why not also visit Kew Gardens’ hidden gem Queen Charlotte’s Cottage, which was King George and his family’s rustic retreat and venue for informal picnics and laughter-filled afternoon teas.
